Mr. Shinichi Yamanaka, Deputy Minister of MEXT, visited our laboratory
We introduced the research that has been conducted here and showed some demos concerning the following research topics:

• Isolated Word Recognition
• Speaker Recognition
• "Galatea"(anthropomorphic spoken dialogue agent)

We also introduced the voice interaction system "Mei-chan", close to the main gates of NIT.
