Biography

Yi-Jian Wu was born in Jiangxi, China on September 29, 1981. He received the B.E., M.E. and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and information science from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, Anhui, China in 2001, 2003 and 2006, respectively. From April 2003 to March 2004, he was an intern student at ATR Spoken Language Translation Research Laboratories (ATR-SLT), Kyoto, Japan. During 2006-2007, He was a Associate Researcher of Speech Group, Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA). He is currently a Postdoctoral researcher of Nagoya Institute of Technology, Nagoya, Japan. His research interests include speech synthesis and speech recognition.
