In the topic of "medical applications of speech synthesis technology(Japanese only)", Junichi Yamagishi(Associate Professor of National Institute of Informatics / Univ. Edinburgh) "Voice Bank Project" was introduced in NEWS JAPAN(Japanese only).
It is a sequel to "evolution speech synthesis"(Japanese only) on aired in May. Singing voice synthesis by Sinsy was introduced at the beginning.
