The "Joint Symposium on Spoken Language Processing"(Japanse only), organized by SIG-SLP, SP and NLC was held at Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Professor Keiichi Tokuda gave his IEEE Fellow lecture about "Statistical approach to speech synthesis - toward human-like talking and singing machines".
